How Do I Become an Amazing Grandma's House Volunteer?
To be a volunteer at Grandma's House, you are required to be 21 years of age or older and you will always need to complete a background check (we will need a copy of your driver’s license to send with the background check form) and possibly fingerprinting will be required if you have lived out of State in the last five years.
Our volunteer opportunities include volunteers to help with decorating, household repairs, deep cleaning, sometimes painting, outside lawn work and to help with fundraisers (the Holiday Bazaar in December is an example).
We also may need volunteers to transport residents to appointments and grocery shopping, to garden with residents, to teach cooking classes, to lead workshops, to tutor at the high school level, and other needs based upon a special talent or ability that you may have.
We would love to have you come visit and tour Grandma's House. If you would like to come visit us, please call 541-383-3515 on weekdays between the hours of 9 to 5 to schedule an appointment or e-mail Linda at:
